Arsenal Is Negotiating With Adidas For A $57 Million Per Year Deal

Premier League club Arsenal is currently in advanced negotiations with Adidas for the German sportswear brand to become the club’s new kit manufacturer, according to reports.

The new deal, which would see the Gunners replacing PUMA with The Three Stripes, will reportedly be worth over £40 million GBP (approximately $57 million USD) per season. The club’s current deal with PUMA is set to expire at the end of the 2019/2020 season and is worth £30 million GBP (approximately $43 million USD) per season.

The Gunners’ deal with adidas could significantly rise if the club can regain its Champions League status by winning the Europa League this season. The German giant produced Arsenal’s kit from 1986 to 1994, a period that saw them win the league title in 1989 and 1991 and the FA Cup in 1993. Arsenal is also currently in talks to find its first shirt-sleeve sponsors to improve the club’s commercial revenue.
