During the Cleveland Cavaliers' game 1 win over the Toronto Raptors, Cavs' veteran center Kendrick Perkins jawed with Drake, who is a fixture at Raptors home games. It seemed like there was legitimate bad blood between the two, to the point that Drake was inviting an altercation with the veteran center.
According to Josh Peter of USA TODAY Sports, both the NBA and the Raptors have told Drake to knock it off.
Drake's antics didn't help the Raptors at all, as the Cavs blew them out in game 2, 128-110.
"The NBA has warned Drake after the rapper’s verbal confrontations Tuesday night with Kendrick Perkins, a backup center for the Cleveland Cavaliers, during Game 1 of the Cavaliers’ playoff series against the Toronto Raptors, a league official told USA TODAY Sports on Thursday.
The Raptors, who have named Drake a global ambassador for the team, also discussed the matter with Drake, according to the official who requested anonymity because of the nature of the matter."
