Herman Miller Looks to Reimagine Modern Workplace Seating With New Cosm Chair

Herman Miller

Herman Miller’s Aeron chair, since hitting the scene in the mid-‘90s, has remained a workforce staple throughout offices in the U.S. and abroad for its cutting-edge design language and all around user comfort. After deciding to reinvent the chair a couple of years back — arming it with a new tilt mechanism and updated suspension system, the American-based furniture maker recently unveiled an all-new design to take note of.

The Cosm, as it is being called, is a self-adapting seat that earns its keep by adjusting to an individual’s posture, weight and pressure points without the need for manual manipulation. With the modern workplace in mind, the new appliance offers total balance and support regardless of who sat in the chair prior and how long the current user will occupy it. Believed to drop sometime this summer, the Cosm will hit the market in white, red, black, navy and light blue. Be sure to visit the brand’s website for more details.
