YouTube has explained why they will not be banning Logan Paul anytime soon, despite his recent actions.Following a temporary suspension on Logan Paul’s account for ad revenue, YouTube has been facing questions about what their final punishments would be for the once rising, now troubled YouTube creator. Infractions thus far have included Logan Paul finding, filming and laughing at a human being’s dead body while visiting Japan’s Suicide Woods and then, after his break, tasing a dead rat and slapping a sick fish around. So, YouTube’s CEO Susan Wojcicki was asked — what would it take to kick Logan Paul off of their service? Why haven’t they done it yet? Well — essentially it’s because the rules about kicking someone off of YouTube completely.
YouTube has a three strikes policy mainly based on the following of hard and fast laws. Things such as copyright violations, showcases of violence, etc. However, it is true that Logan Paul’s videos are considered terrifying and tasteless — but currently do not break YouTube’s rules of conduct.
